Falls of the Log Flume
Wasalandia is located in Vaasa, west coast of Finland. It's one of the four major parks in Finland. The area of the park is quite small but it still features lots of rides and other attractions. The Log Flume is the best water ride in the country, and the Ghost House is definitely worth visiting. The entrance fee includes unlimited rides in the park.
The park opened it's gates 1988. It is owned by the city of Vaasa. The annual number of visitors is 150 000.

The rides are classified in four categories:
1) Major rides (children are not allowed alone or not allowed at all)
2) Family rides (children are allowed alone, but adults are also permitted).
The line between the major rides is usually a matter of opinion
3) Children's rides (adults are not allowed)
4) Attractions (other than rides)

Water Flume
This is the best water flume in the country!
Octopus
Octopus is one of the five major rides in the park.
Suomen Tivoli used to have a similar ride, but it was sold to the Far
East 1995. Manufactured by Soriani & Moser, Italy.
Pirat
Manufactured by Huss.
Supertelecombat
You can control the height of the ship and
shoot down the other riders. Manufactured by Soriani & Moser, Italy.
Venetian Carousel
There was a similar ride in Fanfaari amusement
park, that went bankrupt some years ago. Maybe this is the very same
example?
Kiddy Wheel
Sun & Moon kiddie ferris wheel is the most beautiful
ride in the children's area. It has been manufactured by
SBF, Italy.
Cups and Saucers
Another common ride for kids.

Pirate Ship
Modern Products has sold three kiddie Pirate
Ships to Finland. The other boats are in Linnanmaki and
Sarkanniemi parks.
Play-Go-Round
Play-Go-Round is located next to the entrance of the
Ghost castle. Manufactured by Moden Products, England.
Mickey Mouse Carousel
This carousel contains well known Disney characters.
Manufactured by MPP, France.
Ladybird
There are so many Ladybirds in Finland, that Modern Products
must have had a separate production line for the Finnish market.
Rio Grande Train
There's a similar ride in Linnanmaki amusement park.

The Ghost House
The ghost house is not a ride, but a fun house with a horror
theme. I give my highest recommendations for this attraction.
Dodgem Track and Johnny Rio
Johnny Rio challenges you by the
dodgem track. You better draw quick because Johnny will not
give you a second change.
Traffic City
There are two traffic cities side by side.
One is for the small kids, the other is for the older children.
Kids can drive tiny electric cars in these attractions.
Pirate Adventure
Pirate Adventure is not a ride, but a
playground on water. There are three pirate ships, bridges,
water cannons, etc.
Slide
This is a combination of slide and a
bouncy castle.
Bouncy Castle
There is a small bouncy castle for the little ones.
Crocodile Boats
You can paddle in a small pond on these boats.
Kiddie Rides
There are many "coin operated" kiddie rides
inside the park. However, they are free of charge. They are
suitable for the very small children, who are afraid to go to
bigger rides.

Unfortunately Enterprise has been removed from the
